Shore management with sea time behind it

Graduate of Wuhan University of Technology in 1999. Began his career at COSCO Shipping Group as an engineer and spent fifteen years aboard oil and chemical tankers.

Since 2015 he has served as technical superintendent, technical manager and designated person ashore for fleets ranging from small chemical carriers to very large crude carriers.

He has managed over sixty shipyard repair projects with cost and schedule control within ten percent of budget.

Graduate of Shanghai Maritime School in navigation. He went to sea in 1991 and sailed as Master from 2006 to 2015.

He then moved ashore for nearly a decade as marine manager and designated person. He is a certified designated person ashore, safety management system internal auditor, company security officer and ship security auditor through the China Classification Society.

He has taken part in audits with CCS, ABS and BV.

Fifteen years in shipping. He sailed on very large crude carriers, Aframax and product tankers with Stena Northern Marine and other managers.

He commanded three vessels as Master with a spotless record and brings deep experience of tank cleaning, gas freeing, dry docking and newbuilding takeover.

Years on international crews have left him fluent in English.

A ship machinery management specialist who manages maintenance for four tankers over fifteen years of age to high performance targets.

He holds extensive dry dock, budget control and flag change experience at shipyards in China and abroad.
